Story Time...After painting my bass a few years back, I was hyped on the whole process, fun as hell and honestly, I thought it turned out dope. Jude, my longtime friend and fellow smoke block philosopher, caught me talking about it at work and surprised me with this old acoustic guitar he'd been gifted and wanted to hand it over for full experimentation. Total creative freedom. Hell yes. He brought it to me near the end of 2019. Then everything got weird, pandemic, lockdowns, remote work, school. Inspiration faded under survival mode and the guitar got tucked away in a closet, waiting for its moment. Relics don't stay buried forever and that old guitar started calling. I finally had the time, energy, and focus to give it what it deserved. Not just a paint job, but an intention. Something that felt right for Jude. Something that carried weight, movement, story... something GROOVUS!
