Nestled in the rolling hills of Buchanan, Virginia Beaver Dam Farm is a family-owned haven that glows with community spirit and sunlight blooms.
In 2015, the family planted 20 acres of Black Oil Sunflowers, what began as a simple gesture grew into something spectacular. By the following year, they opened the fields to the public, and every autumn since, the Beaver Dam Sunflower Festival has drawn visitors into a kaleidoscope of color and joy.
The event offers hayrides through sunflower-drenched fields, unique craft vendors, and plenty of good food and drink to make a day of it.
It's a celebration of roots, growth, and the simple magic of watching sunlight dance across thousands of blooms.
